Terrorism

Often times in several media and the news we hear the word terrorism both small scale and large-scale and it is now so haunt our beloved republic, we seemed to be so frightened when they hear the word terrorism, and the question we all are what is the cause of terrorism is and why they got to do terrorism, now we nah bro just to find out What is Terrorism.

Terrorism is a co-ordinated attacks aimed at generating feelings of terror against a group of people. Unlike war, acts of terrorism are not subject to the procedures of warfare such as execution time which is always a sudden and random targets and casualties are often civilians.

The term counter-terrorist experts said referring to the perpetrators that are not incorporated in the army who are known or not following the rules of the armed forces. Acts of terrorism also implies that the attack a terrorist attack carried out inhuman and has no justification, and therefore the perpetrators ("terrorists") deserves a cruel revenge.

Due to the negative meanings conceived by the word "terrorist" and "terrorism", the terrorists generally refer to themselves as a separatist, freedom fighters, crusade army, militants, mujahideen, and others. But in the justification in the eyes of terrorism: "The actual meaning of jihad, jihadist terrorism is far from the action of attacking civilians but does not engage in war". Though Terrorism itself is often seen with the name of religion.

In addition to the individual perpetrators, terrorism can be done by the state or known by the state terrorism (state terrorism). For example, as proposed by Noam Chomsky, who calls the United States into that category. The issue of double standards always color the various mention that initially originated from the West. Like when the United States call a terrorist a lot of different groups in the world, on the other side of media coverage indicates the fact that the United States doing a horrible act of terrorism to violate the agreed convention.

Terrorism in the world is not a new thing, but become actual, especially since the events of the World Trade Center (WTC) in New York, United States on September 11, 2001, known as the "September Grey", which claimed 3000 victims. Attacks carried out by air, not using combat aircraft, but uses a commercial aircraft owned by U.S. companies alone, so it is not caught by radar the United States. Three United States-owned commercial plane was hijacked, two of which crashed into the twin towers of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and the Pentagon.
News journalism as showing the World Trade Center and the Pentagon as the main victims of this attack. In fact, more than that, the main victims within two hours of the expense of approximately 3,000 men, women and children are terrorized, killed, burned, killed and buried under tons of rubble from the ruins of a planned mass murder. As a result of terrorist attacks, according to the Orphans Fund Twin Towers, an estimated 1 500 children lost their parents. At the Pentagon, Washington, 189 people were killed, including the passengers on the plane, 45 people were killed in a fourth plane that crashed in rural Pennsylvania. The terrorists think that the attacks are carried out to the World Trade Center is an attack against the "American Symbols". However, they attack the building is not another international institution that symbolizes the economic prosperity of the world. There are representatives from various countries, ie there are 430 companies from 28 countries. So, actually they're not just attacking the United States but also the world. United States suspect Osama bin Laden as the prime suspect in the attack perpetrators.

This incident is a global issue that affects the political policies throughout the countries of the world, so that the starting point of perception to the international fight against terrorism as the enemy. Mass murder has been to unite the world against International Terrorism. What's more by following the Bali tragedy, dated October 12, 2002 which is an act of terror, creating the world's largest civilian casualties, which killed 184 people and injured more than 300 people. War on Terrorism, led by America, were first received from its allies in Europe. Tony Blair's government, including the first issue Anti-Terrorism, Crime and Security Act, December 2001, followed by the actions of other states that are essentially a war for acts of terrorism in the world, such as the Philippines by issuing Anti Terrorism Bill.

Many opinions are trying to define terrorism, one of which is the understanding contained in article 14 paragraph 1 of The Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) act, 1984, as follows: "Terrorism means the use of violence for political ends and includes any use of violence for the purpose putting the public or any section of the public in fear. "Activities Terrorism has a goal to make others feel frightened and thus to attract the attention of people, group or a nation. Usually acts of terror are used if no other way that can be taken to implement his will. Terrorism is used as a psychological weapon to create an atmosphere of panic, uncertainty and creating public distrust towards the government's ability and forcing a particular community or group to obey the will of terrorists.

Terrorism is not addressed directly to the opponent, but the act of terror would be done anywhere and against anyone. And more importantly, meant to be conveyed by the perpetrators of terror are acts of terror for those who get special attention or more can be said as a psy-war.
So far there has been no standard limits to define what is meant by terrorism. According to Prof. M. Cherif Bassiouni, International Criminal Law expert, that's not easy to conduct an identical understanding that can be universally accepted, so difficult to conduct oversight over the meaning of terrorism. Meanwhile, according to Prof. Brian Jenkins, PhD., Terrorism is a view of the subject, which it is based on who gives the limits on time and under certain conditions.

Not understanding the achievement of agreement on what terrorism is, terrorism does not make left out of the reach of the law. Effort to combat terrorism has been done since before the mid-20th century. In 1937 was born Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Terrorism (Convention for the Prevention and Suppression of Terrorism), in which the Convention defines terrorism as Crimes against State. Through the European Convention on the suppression of Terrorism (ECST) in 1977 in Europe, the meaning of terrorism experienced a paradigm shift and expansion, ie as an act which was originally categorized as Crimes against State (including murder and attempted murder of Heads of State or members of his family), becomes Crimes against Humanity, where the victims are civilians, Crimes against Humanity in the category Gross Violation of Human Rights (Human Rights Violations Weight) conducted as part of an expanding / systematic is known that the attack directed against any civilian population, more directed at the souls of the innocent (Public by innocent), as happened in Bali.

Terrorism is increasingly clear a scourge for modern civilization. The nature of action, actors, strategic goals, motivation, and achieved expected results, targets and methods of terrorism is now more widespread and varied. So it became clear that terror is not the usual destructive form of violent crime, but already is a crime against peace and security of mankind (crimes against peace and security of mankind) According to Muladi, Criminal Acts of Terrorism can be categorized as mala per se or mala in se, classified crimes against conscience (Crimes against conscience), into something evil not because of regulated or prohibited by the Act, but because basically classified as a natural wrong or acts wrong in themselves are not classified as crimes mala prohibita as regulated as such by the Law .
In order to prevent and combat terrorism, since long before the rise of the events that were classified as a form of terrorism occur in the world, the international community and regional particularities and various countries have tried to do the criminal policy of (criminal policy) accompanied by a systematic and comprehensive criminalization of acts which are categorized as terrorism.

And to prevent arbitrariness and uncertainty of law, it is necessary that certain provisions regarding the onset and limits the understanding Proof of Intelligence Report, anything that can be incorporated into the category of Intelligence Report, as well as how the actual nature of the Intelligence Report, which can be used as evidence Beginnings. Especially against a person suspected of having committed the Crime of Terrorism, the clarity of it are necessary to prevent violations of human rights by doing arbitrary arrest by security forces, in this case investigators.

Similarly, need to be formulated on the settings, how to file complaints against officers who have been wrong in doing his job, by the people who suffered from the mistake and their human rights have been violated, because many of the Government of a country in the prevention and repression of acts of terror through an arrangement special emergency, which emergency rule was deemed to have violated not only the far right of a person accused, but also against human rights. Emergency rule so it has given excessive authority to the chiefs in the take actions against acts of terror.

There have been many countries in the world who sacrifice human rights for the application of antiterrorism law, including the rights of which fall into the non-derogable rights, ie rights that should not be reduced to meet them under any circumstances. The antiterrorism law is now enforced in many countries to ratify the arbitrary (arbitrary detention) denial of the principle of free and fair trial. A recent report from Amnesty International states that the use of torture in the interrogation of persons suspected terrorists tend to increase. Things like this should be avoided, because the Criminal Acts of Terrorism must be eradicated for reasons of Human Rights, so that eradication must be conducted with due regard to Human Rights. According to Munir, that indeed there should be a national law governing the matter of terrorism, but with a clear definition, may not actually fight for Human Rights. Combating Terrorism should be directed to the protection of Human Rights, not the reverse limit and against Human Rights. And the point is also how he does not give room for the legitimacy of the abuse of power.

So what we can about the significance of understanding the meaning of terrorism, terrorism is used as a psychological weapon to create an atmosphere of uncertainty and creating public distrust towards the government's ability and forcing a particular community or group to obey the will of terrorists. Terrorism activities carried out mostly with random targets, not directly to the opponent, so to do terror, it is hoped will get the attention of the addressee.
Well hopefully what the terrorists want to realize this dinegri Praise be to Allaah terrorism is a disaster for society, for those families and for ourselves, a very small swing against the government.
